Founder Story
LINQ was founded on a simple observation: successful development requires more than good engineering. It requires someone who understands how all the pieces connect.
After years of working on commercial development projects, we saw the same challenge repeatedly. Developers were managing engineers, architects, surveyors, utilities, municipalities, transportation agencies, contractors, and future tenants—often with each party focused only on their individual scope. The technical work could be right, but projects could still lose time when decisions, approvals, and responsibilities were not aligned.
We created LINQ to work differently
Our goal is to be more than another consultant on the project team. We operate as an extension of the developer—combining civil engineering expertise with an understanding of entitlements, permitting, utilities, agency coordination, and the realities of getting a commercial project built.
That means identifying challenges early, keeping the right people connected, understanding how one decision affects the next, and staying engaged from initial site evaluation through design, approvals, and construction.
It is also the idea behind our name: LINQ is about connection. Connecting engineering with development strategy. Connecting consultants with agencies and utilities. Connecting early decisions with what ultimately gets built.
